The State of California may be holding money that belongs to you.
I’m Nicholas Papiri. I live in Alamo, California, and I locate unclaimed property the State is holding, usually money left behind under a business that is no longer active, and recover it for the person entitled to it.
The State holds billions of dollars this way. It will not track owners down, and connecting an old business back to a living person takes real research. That research is the work I do, from start to finish.
The State pays you directly. When a claim is approved, the Controller mails your money to you. You never write me a check.
You pay nothing unless funds are recovered. My fee is capped by California law at 10% and is paid separately by the State, only out of what’s actually recovered.
